The objectives will be:
1. To describe the neurocognitive issues following pediatric brain injury
2. To discuss the development, analysis and scoring of the Pediatric Test of Brain Injury
3. To present a case example of a child recovering from traumatic brain injury.
The Post-Conference will provide an overview of neurocognitive deficits seen in children recovering from brain injury. The Co-Authors of the Pediatric Test of Brain Injury (PTBI) will present the PTBI as a new kind of test, review the theoretical background and rationale, test development, administration, and scoring. A case example will be presented.
