Predictors of Long-term Outcomes of Early Childhood Brain Injury: Implications for Follow-up and Intervention
Shari Wade, PhD is the Center Director/ Site Director for the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. Dr. Wade’s research over the past decade has been supported by grants from the American Lung Association, MCH-HRSA Research Program, NIAID, NINDS, NICHD, NIDRR, CDC, and NIMH. She has authored more than 50 peer-reviewed publications on pediatric TBI and given numerous regional, national, and international presentations to psychological and medical professionals on the topic of pediatric TBI. Dr. Wade has served as PI on 6 federally funded RCT studies of TBI interventions, including three multi-site trials. She is committed to using research findings as a foundation for intervention, training, and wider dissemination.
Dr. Wade serves as Center director, oversees all research activities, and works with Dr. Ann Glang to implement the training and dissemination missions of the Center.
