Case Study: Preparing a Presentation of Your Catastrophic Injury Case that Can be Used in Jury Focus, Mediation and Trial
Simon H. Forgette’s practice concentrates on plaintiff personal injury law with emphasis on catastrophic brain and spinal cord injury cases. He has served on the Board of Directors of the Brain Injury Association of America (BIAA, formerly known as the National Head Injury Foundation) as well as the Brain Injury Association of Washington. He served as Chairman of the Board of the National Head Injury Foundation from 1991-1992.
In 1986, Mr. Forgette chaired the first State attorney conference (Washington) devoted to handling traumatic brain injury (TBI) cases. He subsequently co-chaired the first National TBI conference for attorneys, benefitting BIAA. That conference is now sponsored by the North American Brain Injury Society (NABIS) and celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2012.
Mr. Forgette is a member of the Washington State Bar Association, Washington State Association for Justice, the American Association for Justice and the American Bar Association. He retired as a Lt. Colonel from the United States Marine Corps Reserve.
